Privacy Policy
What information Calculator Atlas handles, what it does not collect, and how to reach us.
This policy describes what the website does today. It was written from an inspection of how the site behaves and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It does not claim compliance with any particular privacy law, and it does not name a legal entity: the operator’s details are not published on the site yet.
What the calculators do with your input
Calculations run in your browser. The numbers you type into a calculator are not sent to our server. The site has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms that collect personal information.
Search
The search box sends the text you type to this site’s own search endpoint so it can return matching calculators, and a full search results page puts your search words in the page address. The application does not store these searches. The web host may keep standard server logs, such as your IP address, the address requested and the time.
Cookies and browser storage
The site itself sets no cookies, but Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics on the public site can set their own (see below). The site saves one setting in your browser’s local storage, your light or dark theme choice, under the key cu-theme. That value stays on your device. See the cookie policy.
Copy and share
The copy and share buttons act only when you press them. Copying puts text on your clipboard. Sharing passes the page address to your device’s share menu or copies it.
Analytics, advertising and third parties
The public version of the site loads Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KDKRPQZ2), which the owner uses to run Google Analytics. When it loads, your browser contacts Google, which can receive your IP address, the page you view, your browser details and an identifier stored in a cookie, so that visits can be counted and analysed. The site has no advertising and loads no other third-party scripts or embedded content; fonts and images come from the site itself. The site does not currently show a cookie consent banner or let you opt out of analytics other than through your browser settings or a blocker.
If you email support@calculatoratlas.net, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them to answer you and to investigate corrections. Your email service handles the message on its way. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Children
The site is a general reference tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Your rights
Because the site does not itself collect personal information, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete apart from email you have sent and any host logs. You can write to support@calculatoratlas.net with a privacy question.
